Last thing to note is in device manager I have a driver error from Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Bluetooth 4.1.
I've tried a TPLink bluetooth dongle (garbage, constantly disconnects), and most recently have tried this one from insignia which is what I'm using now.
I've tried moving the positioning of the bluetooth dongle all over the room with the extension cable and it seems better but still frequently lags/disconnects.Ĭurious if you or anyone may know what's causing this. I ordered 2 10ft USB extension cables to try out your solution but as I'm typing this it is still having connection issues from my bed, especially when sitting on my lap table. Funny because we have the exact same motherboard and also wireless logitech mice. I'm guessing it's likely Chineese made and if someone could speak mandarian, they could likely find the correct driver for it through the chineese search engines but beyond that, for everyone else in the English Speaking world, just use the Windows Default driver as I don't know what using other prduct drivers may or may not do to this.I made a post about this exact issue (that you commented on linking me to your own post). These Bluetooth modems are some sort of in house stuff made by Best Buy. The Windows Default drivers work as I am replying to this post using a bluetooth wireless keyboard. Further more, the instructions claim Windows 10 should be able to automatically install the drivers. The instructions in the booklet that came with it simply tell you to go to for the drivers. I ended up using the Windows Default Bluetooth drivers because there is no driver for these devices, pure and simple.
This is for installing a driver for another product which if it works I guess that's fine.
